Rob and Michelle were profiled in the Ontario, Oregon newspaper. Under the headline Sustainable Me, the story highlighted the couple’s concern for their animals’ welfare and their care for the land. Read the article here.
June 20, 2013 – Malheur Enterprise newspaper. Real Goat Getters: Vale couple finds niche with goats, pigs, chickens.
Rob and Michelle’s ranch was on the front page of the Vale, Oregon newspaper. The story described their start as a couple of college students who wanted to raise animals, to working for Niman Ranch Natural Meat, to buying their ranch and starting a natural meat business. The photo included Michelle and a goat with the unfortunate name of Pain in the Butt.

The Society for Range Management’s magazine for general audiences ran a four-page article about Malheur River Meats and Rob and Michelle’s ranch. The article described Saturdays at their Boise Capital City Market booth and took readers on a tour of their Circle O Ranch near Vale, Oregon.

This segment of Northwest Food News, and accompanying newspaper article, highlighted goat meat. Writer Guy Hand tasted several goat entrees at a Twin Falls restaurant and quoted Rob and Michelle on the increasing demand for goat meat and its health benefits.
